At AAMI, academic success requires focus, personal responsibility, and professional conduct. These policies ensure students stay on track toward earning their Associate Degree in Funeral Service and are fully prepared for the National Board Exam (NBE) and licensure.

Academic Expectations
- Students must complete all required courses and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 to graduate.
- While a “D” is considered a passing grade, students are encouraged to aim for higher achievement to support future exam and licensure success.
- Students are expected to demonstrate maturity, professionalism, and ethical conduct both on and off campus.
- Faculty may take disciplinary action for misconduct; serious issues are referred to the Director of Student Services or Faculty Council, which may result in suspension or dismissal.
