Academic Overview
- Classes run Monday through Friday, 8:50 AM – 4:00 PM
- Most students graduate in 3 semesters (with transfer credit) or 4 semesters (without)
- Courses are grouped into five content areas:

- Legal, Regulatory & Ethical Studies
- General Education
All students follow the same required course sequence (A–K). Students who have already earned 60+ college credits or hold an associate/bachelor’s degree may qualify for general education waivers.

How do I apply?
Submit your application online or call the Admissions Office.
How long does the program take?
3 semesters (12 months) with transfer credit; 4 semesters (16 months) without.
Is orientation required?
Yes. Orientation is held before your first semester.
What is the dress code?
Business casual attire is required.
Is attendance mandatory?
Yes. Campus students must attend at least 80% of all scheduled hours per course.
Is financial aid available?
Yes. Federal and some state financial aid is available to eligible students.
Can I receive transfer credit?
Yes. General education and other eligible coursework will be evaluated before your first term.
Do I have to register with NYS even if I’m not from New York?
Yes. All students must register as a Student Trainee with the New York State Department of Health, regardless of their intended licensure state.
